2017 BMW X3 review, redesign

We got to see some spy pictures of the new 2017 BMW X3. What we saw of this most affordable crossover from the German automaker other than the sub-compact X1 certainly impressed us. BMW is one of the most dominant carmakers in the luxury segment and with its new X3 it hopes to score big. The car is currently being tested somewhere in Europe and will be the 3rd generation and is expected to have the same design lines as the X5 and the X6.

2017 BMW X3: Redesign Exterior and Interior

The new 2017 BMW X3 is a compact crossover SUV that offers luxury as well as performance. It has a new look and is powered up by powerful engines. The earlier models have sold well and this has motivated the German carmaker to produce this vehicle in 6 different generations and 5 different body styles.

You can expect the interiors to be very luxurious and comfortable as well as stylish. There is plenty of space at the back to accommodate passengers and the cabin overall is also very large as well as roomy. The cabin is equipped with an excellent infotainment system that includes the very best quality sound system. In addition, there is a wonderful stereo that is virtually theft-proof and a CD cum MP3 player is also installed within the cabin. Other features include Bluetooth and USB audio connection as well as auxiliary jack. There are also a number of safety features include traction control and electronic stability control as well as anti-lock brakes and dual zone climate control and more.

On the outside, the 2017 BMW X3 is large in size and its body makes it look very impressive. The tailgate is truly impressive and the large wheels and brakes are other impressive features that help to make the BMW look and feel very special. The LED headlights and a sunroof as well as top quality front wheel air curtains are other interesting features. The best part is that the carmaker is offering buyers a whole host of body color options to choose from.

2017 BMW X3: Engine and Fuel Economy

A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine will probably power up the new 2017 BMW X3. Alternatively, the carmaker may also offer a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel unit for both diesel and petrol engines. A hybrid variant will also be offered and this variant will get a 2.0-liter petrol engine that works along with an electric motor. The petrol engine is capable of producing 240 horsepower while the electric motor produces about 95 horsepower. There are also reports that the German carmaker will also offer a pair of high performance models like the X3 M50i and the X3 M. The new 2017 BMW X3 will however be designed to produce greater amount of torque as well as power than the earlier model. As for fuel consumption, we think that the X3 will be able to deliver 62 mpg and the electric motor will allow you to drive for up to 30 miles.
