The 2016 Volswagen Touareg will avail various options of both traditional gasoline engines and hybrid versions. The 3.0 liter V6 engine (with 400 lb-ft torque and up to 205 horsepower) will be available in two options namely: a 204 horsepower option and an engine with 258 horsepower. Both options should avail lower fuel consumption than their predecessors.
The V8 option will be available with 340 horsepower. The hybrid engine option will boast a 52 horsepower electric motor and a 333 horsepower V6 TSI diesel engine.
