The 2016 Volkswagen Passat TDI model will boast of a 2.0 liter twin turbo diesel with 368 LP-Ft of torque. Additionally, 2016 Volkswagen TDI model will boast of a seven speed DSG transmission. Volkswagen have also revealed that they will also release a plug in hybrid version that will boast of an electric motor and a 1.4 liter four cylinder engine. In terms of fuel consumption, the hybrid version promises to be quite economical.

The all new 2016 Volkswagen Passat TDI will be fully unveiled at the Paris motor show. So far, it has only been released in European form. It is expected to retail at around the same price range as the 2015 model.
