2016 Porsche 911 Turbo

The first Porsche 911 Turbo was unveiled in 1974 and it was equipped with a 3 liter engine that was capable of producing 260 horsepower. It was followed by another release in 1978 which had a 3.3 liter engine that was capable of producing 300 horsepower. Jump to 2014, the model has a 3.8 liter engine which is capable of producing 520 horsepower while the 2015 model is equipped with a 3.8 liter engine that is capable of producing 520 horsepower at 7400 revolutions per minute. The car will be equipped with a 3.8 liter flat 6 engine which is capable of producing 520 horsepower and it will be rear wheel drive. The transmission will be both automated and manual with 7 speeds and will allow the car to achieve a top speed of 197 miles per hour.

The 2016 model will be able to travel from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds. The fuel specs are not currently available but assumptions indicate it will utilize direct gasoline engine. The mpg ratings are also not available but users expect a fuel economical car especially due to the advancement in technology.


Interior specs of 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo are also not currently available but information researched indicates high quality materials and craftsmanship will be used to construct the interior. The dashboard, interior door panels, seats and the steering wheel will be covered with high quality leather. The usual systems such as navigation, climate control and Bose entertainment system will be provided to make the driving experience the best. The car occupancy rate will be 4.

Safety is key for both drivers and passengers when driving. The 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo is expected to have airbags, seat belts, lane departure, blind spot monitoring and tire pressure system among others. Other safety features include side impact beams, ABS, electronic stability control, child safety and air bag occupancy sensor.

A new improved bumper will be in place plus a distinct grill. The grill will help in saving fuel because the engine will be cooled from time to time. Other parts like the windows, the hood and side view will be similar to the 2015 model. The 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo will still have 2 doors same to its predecessors.

The rear will have a new spoiler for stability, new taillights, new exhaust design and new rear bumper design. Another exterior component, the chassis, is designed to offer the driver and passengers smooth high speed maneuvers. It will have 20 inch wheels which will give the car a more beautiful and sporty look.

The new 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo is expected to be available early 2016 and it will be retailing at $150,000 and the price is expected to rise as more add-ons are incorporated.
